Revised Naperville soccer invite schedule released

Officials from the 16th annual Naperville Invitational have sent out a revised schedule for their 24-team tournament starting Friday. All teams will play four games over two weeks and the two finalists will play a fifth game. The eight group winners advance to the quarterfinals starting April 25.

The change was made since recent poor weather conditions forced the postponement of Thursday’s opening round games.

Napeville North and Central, Waubonsie Valley and Neuqua Valley will hold a Four Schools for Once Cause fund-raiser for breast cancer awareness April 27 at Naperville Central on the tournament’s final day. A raffle will be held to raise funds for the Edward Hospital Cancer Center.
