1. Waubonsie Valley – Lewis recruit Michael Simmons is healthy and hoping to lead the Warriors to a school record for victories and perhaps their first sectional title.

2. Metea Valley – The Mustangs have increased their win total every year of their existence and return four starters from last year’s 29-8 team that advanced to the regional final for the first time.

3. West Aurora – The Blackhawks are a year away from contending but should make huge strides with a roster of promising young talent that includes six sophomores and 6-6 freshman Thomas Kovanic.
