Pepsi Showdown bracket released

Loyola is the top seed in the annual Pepsi Showdown beginning April 6 at Olympic Park in Schaumburg. The Ramblers open the country’s largest girls volleyball tournament at 9 a.m. Saturday against 32nd-seeded Plainfield East.

Second and third round games will be held at campus sites. The semifinals will return to Olympic Park April 13 and the championship game is scheduled for April 21 at Toyota Park in Bridgeview.

Tournament players Monday began entering blog entries at the Showdown website at pepsishowdown.us/girls.html.
