Hear Him Roar

Just finished watching Conant’s football team nearly knock off Prospect, a game the Cougars lost 28-20 because of four turnovers.

But boy did I come away impressed with Cougars quarterback Sean Smith. While Prospect’s Miles Osei gets a lot of deserved press, Smith proved he needs some words written his way.

Yes, he did throw three interceptions, but he’s still learning the position and how to make the right reads and not force passes. He’ll continue to improve on that.

Smith just has that intangible coaches love that can’t be qualified. He’s a football player, pure and simple, and I look forward to seeing him again soon.
