Is this the worst State of the Union rebuttal in history?

It’s hard to argue that there’s been a more brutal rebuttal to a State of the Union address than the Democrats’ awkward attempt in 1985.

Sure, some recent rebuttals have provided choice moments.

In 2013, everyone saw a very thirsty Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Florida:

In 2011, Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-Minnesota, delivered the tea party’s response — while looking at the wrong camera.

But in 1985, after President Ronald Reagan addressed the nation, the Democrats’ rebuttal came in the form of a 10-minute video, where elected officials talked to voters in focus groups.

It was choppy and hard to follow. There was also bad music. And a very young Bill Clinton, then governor of Arkansas, also was mixed in, for an extra distraction.
