An Antioch man has been charged after a series of burglaries in the north suburbs.

Michael S. Roman, 29, faces felony counts of residential burglary and theft, according to a statement from the Lake County sheriff’s office.

Detectives had been investigating the burglaries throughout Antioch Township and on Monday tracked down Roman, who was carrying items taken during a recent burglary in the 38000 block of North 3rd Avenue in unincorporated Fox Lake, police said.

Roman, of the 4200 block of North Lake Drive in Antioch, was ordered held on a $50,000 bond, police said. He is next due in court Feb. 23.
