Geneva turns back Batavia’s upset bid

The Geneva boys basketball team seemingly snared every rebound Thursday night but still found itself in peril midway through the fourth quarter.

The Vikings, however, kept their composure and out-executed underdog Batavia down the stretch, pulling away at the end for a 57-47, Upstate Eight Conference River win.
