“Allison, can you explain what Internet is?” — Katie Couric, circa 1994.

BMW somehow fished that clip with Couric and Bryant Gumbel out of the time machine and repurposed it to promote a new, electric BMW. And even if you’re not in the market for such a car, the commercial will generate a few chuckles.

The best part is when Couric slyly says, to Gumble, that “maybe” she just might know how to twerk. Of course, the music in the background is “Electric Avenue.”
