Rolling Meadows tops Prospect

What a difference a half a season makes.

At least that’s what Rolling Meadows coach Kevin Katovich thinks. Katovich had just seen his Mustangs give up an 8-point lead with 1:34 left in the game against visiting Prospect, as the Knights closed out regulation with a 9-1 run to force a 50-all tie.

Prospect then scored the first 4 points in the overtime to lead 54-50. Rolling Meadows came back strong in the extra period to edge Prospect 58-56 in the Mid-Suburban East matchup.
