Jake Arrieta’s historic 2015 season was recognized as such when he was named the 2015 NL Cy Young award winner Wednesday night.

His second-half stat line was mesmerizing as he went 16-1 with a 0.86 ERA in his last 20 starts. His only loss came in Cole Hamels’ no-hitter.

He was 11-0 with a 0.41 ERA in his final 12 outings.
