Dan Haren jokingly points out Jordan Zimmermann has no friends

Cubs pitcher Dan Haren has thrown his last MLB pitch, but that doesn’t mean the retiree can’t throw a good-natured taunt at an old teammate via social media.

Jordan Zimmermann, who teamed with Haren in 2013 on the Nationals, was a mere newbie to Twitter when Haren buzzed his tower on Sunday night.

Zimmermann, a Wisconsin native, was about to enjoy watching the undefeated Green Bay Packers on his home theater system and decided to let Twitter fans know.

Haren was quick to note Zimmermann’s surroundings.

Welcome to Twitter, Jordan.
