A Wheaton man has been charged with possession of child pornography after police received an anonymous tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

John P. Becker, 24, was arrested Oct. 27 and later charged with four felony counts of unlawful possession of video depictions of child pornography following an undercover police investigation, according to a statement from Wheaton police.

The investigation began after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received an anonymous cyber tip, police said.

Becker was released after posting $7,500 bail, police said. He is next scheduled to appear in court Nov. 30.
