Bloomingdale man wanted on weapon and drug charges

The DuPage County sheriff’s office is looking for a west suburban man who wanted on weapon and drug possession charges.

Niel Patel, 27, is wanted for felony counts of possession of a weapon by a felon, and possession of a controlled substance, according to a statement from the DuPage County sheriff’s office.

Patel is described as a 5-foot-10, 196-pound Hispanic man with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in the 300 block of Colony Green Drive in Bloomingdale.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the sheriff’s office at (630) 407-2400.
