Man shot in Chicago Lawn

A man was shot in the South Side neighborhood of Chicago Lawn Saturday morning, police said.

The 26-year-old man was standing in the 6500 block of South Maplewood Avenue at 1:36 a.m. when two people in dark clothes walked up and shot him in he elbow, police said.

He was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition.
