A 19-year-old man was shot to death Sunday night in Englewood on the South Side.

Officers responding to a call of a person shot about 8:40 p.m. in the 5700 block of South Union found Antonio Williams unresponsive on a sidewalk with gunshot wounds to the leg and chest, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Williams, of the 6900 block of South Carpenter, was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died at 9:21 p.m., authorities said.

Another man was gunned down in the same neighborhood less than six hours earlier.
