Man stabbed during argument on Near North Side

A man was stabbed during an argument near a Red Line station early Sunday on the Near North Side.

The 37-year-old man got into an argument with another male on the sidewalk in the 100 block of West Division, near the Clark/Division Red Line station, according to Chicago Police.

The other male pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in the right side of the shoulder, police said. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition stabilized.

Police said the victim is a documented gang member.
