A woman is in critical condition after she was stabbed during a domestic incident Saturday night in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

The 22-year-old woman was stabbed in a residence in the 100 block of North Long about 10:15 p.m., police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.

She was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood in critical condition, Gaines said.

Gaines said the stabbing happened during a domestic incident, but did not provide additional details.
