17-year-old girl shot in West Englewood

A 17-year-old girl was shot Sunday evening in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The girl was “having an altercation” with another female in the 6100 block of South Honore at 5:03 p.m., when two males riding bicycles rode by and shot the girl, police said.

The girl suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, and was taken to Stroger Hospital where her condition was stabilized, police said.
