Man shot in West Englewood

A 22-year-old man was shot Saturday night in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

At 9:50 p.m., the man was walking on a sidewalk in the 1700 block of West Marquette Road when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the head and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
