Man shot in Canaryville

A 32-year-old man was shot in the Canaryville neighborhood early Sunday on the South Side.

About 2:40 a.m., he got into a fight with another man who pulled a gun and shot him in the inner thigh in the 4300 block of South Wallace, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

The shooting was thought to be gang-related.
