Boy, 15, shot in Austin

A teenage boy was wounded in an Austin neighborhood shooting Monday night on the West Side.

The 15-year-old was standing on a front porch about 9:30 p.m. in the 5200 block of West Kamerling when someone walked up and started shooting, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right leg and was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
