Man wanted for attempted kidnapping in Lincoln Square

Chicago Police are searching for a man wanted for an attempted kidnapping Thursday in the North Side Lincoln Square neighborhood.

About 5:10 p.m., a female was in the 2000 block of West Wilson when a male parked his vehicle, walked up to her and grabbed her arm, according to a community alert from police. He then attempted to force her into his vehicle before she hit him and he fled.

He was described as a 30- to 38-year-old Hispanic man, standing 5-foot-7 and weighing 200 pounds, police said. He has brown eyes, brown hair, a light complexion and was driving a red, four-door hardtop vehicle.
