Two teenage boys have been charged with robbing a convenience store at gunpoint in northwest suburban Elgin.

The two, ages 15 and 16, robbed a convenience store in the 700 lock of Walnut Avenue around 7:50 p.m. on Jan. 25, according to a statement from Elgin police.
