A 15-year-old boy was shot early Thursday in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

He was walking down the street in the 6600 block of South Halsted about 2:14 a.m. when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit in the foot, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Comer’s Children’s Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
