Man, 30, shot in South Shore

A 30-year-old man was shot Sunday evening in the South Shore neighborhood.

He was sitting in a vehicle about 7:10 p.m. in the 7400 block of South Phillips when someone fired shots from a dark-colored sedan that pulled up, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
