Woman missing from West Woodlawn reunited with family

A woman who was missing from the West Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side since last week has been found.

Iola Hartfield, who often goes by the nicknames “Ree” or “Marie,” was last seen Nov. 21 in the 6000 block of South Vernon Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Chicago police.

Police canceled the alert Wednesday, stating that Hartfield had been located and reunited with her family. Further details were not provided.
