A man was shot late Tuesday night while walking in the West Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side.

The 30-year-old man was walking when a black vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots about 11:45 p.m. in the 6400 block of North California, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to St. Francis Hospital where he was in good condition, police said.

Area North detectives were investigating.
