The North Korean nuclear threat is real. North Korean missiles, by some reports, may be capable of reaching Los Angeles and even as far as New York and Washington, D.C.
Since North Korea’s first nuclear weapon test in 2006, the country has accumulated more than 60 nuclear weapons, according to CNN — and it takes only one weapon to trigger a nuclear war.
North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un’s nuclear program threatens the safety and stability of the world.

As a South Korean American, I fear not only for the people around me here in the States but also for my family in Seoul, who are only 200 miles from North Korea. The National Interest reports that at least 8 million people could die in a war with North Korea.
There is a fear that fills me every time North Korea tests another weapon.
Yet President Donald Trump continues to play Kim Jong Un’s games, not carefully considering the consequences.
In Washington, the North Korean Oversight Act of 2019 would address this issue. The bill would give Congress oversight over the Trump administration’s negotiations and agreements with North Korea.
What we do now will determine our future with respect to North Korea. Congress should immediately pass the North Korea Policy Oversight Act.

Crimes against creation
During his first term in office, President Donald Trump has relentlessly declared war against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, public lands and monuments, wildlife refuges and endangered species. We have not had a president in modern history who is so adamantly opposed to nature conservation, pristine habitat preservation, and protections for flora and fauna. These can viably be deemed as crimes against creation and are grounds for removing President Trump from office in the 2020 election.

Unrelenting hostility
Nothing shows the unrelenting hostility and bias of the press than your headline, “Trump’s Fancy Fourth.” All presidents hold celebrations on major holidays. The details of Donald Trump’s organization of the celebration are trivial, and the controversy about it isn’t real. It’s just a Democratic talking point, echoed by the press, as usual.
