Jay Cutler used to compete against the Broncos a lot—in practice.

But the Bears quarterback, who played in Denver for three seasons beginning in 2006, has never played against the Broncos in a game that counts. The Bears host the Broncos on Sunday at Soldier Field.

The last time the Bears played against the Broncos was 2011, but Cutler was out with a broken thumb. Caleb Hanie started in his place. Tim Tebow rallied the Broncos to a 13-10 victory in Denver.

Most of Cutler’s starts have obviously come against the NFC North: Lions (7-6); Vikings (8-4) and Packer (1-11).

He has also faced the AFC West a lot: Chargers (3-4); Raiders (2-3) and Chiefs (4-1).

The 10-year veteran has played against every team in the NFL at least twice, except for the Ravens (1-0) and Broncos (0-0).
