The Bears might have something extra to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
According to a report from ESPN, Chicago running back Matt Forte will likely return to the lineup when the Bears take on the Packers Thursday night at Lambeau Field.
Via ESPN:
Forte participated in an extensive pregame warmup on Sunday, and barring an unforeseen setback, appears on track to play against the Packers.
The veteran running back has missed Chicago’s past three games after suffering a sprained MCL in a Week-8 loss to the Vikings.
Rookie Jeremy Langford has filled in admirably as he’s totaled 366 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns during Forte’s three-game absence.
Alshon Jeffery, Matt Forte and Pernell McPhee all would have been limited had #Bears practiced today.

According to the report, the Bears will practice Tuesday and Wednesday before heading to Green Bay for what feels like a must-win game in order to keep any hopes of a playoff berth alive.
