The Bears are adding another outside linebacker to a room that already includes starters Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn.

The team is giving Barkevious Mingo, a first-round pick (sixth overall) by the Browns in 2013, a one-year deal. He’ll receive $1.1875 million, sources confirmed to the Sun-Times.

Mingo has played for the Browns, Patriots, Colts, Seahawks and Texans. He never has posted more than five sacks in a season and has 10 overall.

He’s familiar with the Bears’ system, however. Chuck Pagano, the Bears’ defensive coordinator, was his coach with the Colts in 2017.

Mingo can handle obvious rushing downs. Quinn, a pass-rushing specialist, played only

60 percent of the Cowboys’ snaps last season.
