LIVE BLOG: Emanuel, DeBlasio at U of C mayors forum

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is one of four mayors of major metropolitan cities who will appear at 6 p.m. tonight at “Leading America’s Big Cities in the 21st Century,” a 75-minute forum at the University of Chicago Institute of Politics.

The event also features New York Mayor Bill DeBlasio, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed. They will discuss “the most pressing issues facing today’s urban leaders, and how our great American cities can flourish in the twenty-first century and beyond,” according to the University of Chicago Institute of Politics.
