A 33-year-old man was killed in a shooting Tuesday in Park Manor on the South Side.

Gerald White was shot in the head about 4:20 p.m. in the 200 block of East 69th Place, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

White was a resident of East Chicago, Indiana according to the medical examiner’s office.

Area One detectives are investigating the shooting.
