Man, 19, wounded in road-rage shooting in Ravenswood

A man was wounded in the leg during a road-rage shooting in Ravenswood on the Northwest Side Thursday morning, according to Chicago police.

The man, 19, was riding in a car when it almost collided with a black BMW in the 4400 block of North Western Avenue around 12:40 a.m., police said.

The two drivers got into an argument, and the black BMW then pulled alongside and fired a shot that went through the door and struck the teen, police said.

He went to Weiss Memorial Hospital in fair condition.

The BMW driver was not in custody. Police released no description of the driver or further details about the car.
