Still recovering from hip surgery, Barry Manilow has postponed his Chicago Theatre concerts this week until July.
The singer cited an intense physical therapy regimen following the muscular surgery in December.
“We have all worked very hard on creating the new show and at the same time spent hours with physical therapists to get back in shape,” Manilow said in a statement. “Unfortunately, my hips just aren’t ready yet; and these hips don’t lie.”
Tickets purchased for Thursday’s performance will be honored July 12, with Friday tickets good for July 13 and Saturday tickets honored July 14.
