The GOP is tired of cat-fighting with Harry Reid when it comes to a school choice bill in the Senate.
So that point had to be made on Twitter, with a bad cat pun. Because everyone loves cats, right?
Here’s the tweet that the Republican National Committee sent out Wednesday night:
Paw-don me, @SenatorReid: http://t.co/eOox71A32w Blocking a bipartisan #schoolchoice bill is a cat-astrophe fur kids pic.twitter.com/fQerbyuzMF

See what they did there? Paw-don me. Kitten around.
It wouldn’t be fair to say that people were furr-ious, but for the most part, they weren’t entertained.
For example:
@GOP Oh good grief....This is the kind of crap @TheDemocrats tweet. Stop it. @SenatorReid
