Rauner to appear in Springfield as he launches new attack ad

Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner will be in Springfield on Friday to talk to the American Legion as his campaign launches an early-July attack ad against Gov. Pat Quinn.

Rauner speaks before the American Legion at 10 a.m. in Springfield.

“When you hear Pat Quinn’s false attacks, remember his broken promises,” it begins.
