Looking ahead to the Chicago municipal election on Feb. 24, the Sun-Times editorial board met on Tuesday, Jan. 13, with the candidates running for alderman in the 16th Ward to talk about the key issues facing their community — and what they’d do to improve things.
The 16th Ward includes Englewood, Gage Park and Chicago Lawn.

Only two of six candidates attended the meeting, and their names probably sound familiar: Stephanie D. Coleman is the daughter of retired Ald. Shirley A. Coleman. And Toni Foulkes is the incumbent alderman – in the neighboring 15th Ward.
