Two people were wounded in a shooting late Monday in the Trumbull Park neighborhood on the Far South Side.

A 17-year-old girl and a 19-year-old man were “in or near a vehicle in traffic” in the 10500 block of South Yates at 11:35 p.m. when someone shot at them, according to Chicago Police.

The girl was shot in the right shoulder while the man suffered a graze wound to the back, police said. They were both taken to Trinity Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized.
