Here’s what might happen this Saturday night, Oct. 11, if you purchase or already purchased one or more tickets for Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” at Lyric Opera of Chicago: prizes. Several of them, in fact, but only if it’s determined that you’re the 12 millionth ticketholder in Lyric’s history, which has spanned 60 seasons.

Upgraded seats for “Don Giovanni”

A live interview on WFMT-FM’s (98.7) “Operathon”

A gift bag packed with swag from Lyric’s gift shop

A gift certificate to Lyric’s in-house restaurant, the Pedersen Room

Gratis champagne and “sweets” at intermission

The winner will be announced Saturday evening before the 7:30 p.m. performance in Lyric’s grand foyer.
