Country Club Hills man found stabbed to death in his home

(COUNTRY CLUB HILLS) A south suburban man was found stabbed to death at his home in Country Club Hills Friday afternoon.

Authorities were called to the home in the 19000 block of Laramie Lane at 4:17 p.m. for a well-being check when they found 60-year-old Ben Perry, who lived in the home, according to a statement from Country Club Hills’ public safety director Bill Brown.

Perry had died from multiple stab wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Police and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force are investigating the death.
