Test your ‘Ghostbusters’ knowledge at Oct. 25 trivia event

“Ghostbusters” fans, who you gonna call to be on your trivia team?

Pub quiz gurus Geeks Who Drink are putting on another one of their pop culture-based competitions with a “Ghostbusters” trivia contest Oct. 25, just in time for Halloween and the 30th anniversary of the beloved flick.

The event will be held at more than two dozen U.S. cities including Chicago, where the venue is Connie’s Pizza at 1030 N. State. It starts at 7 p.m. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

“If you pray before a handmade Bill Murray shrine each night before bed and greet each blind date with the words ‘Are you the Keymaster?’, this quiz is for you,” reads the “Don’t Cross the Streams: A Ghostbusters Quiz” Facebook page.

It’s the first “Ghostbusters” event for the Denver-based Geeks Who Drink, who put on a mighty fine “Breaking Bad” trivia contest in Chicago last year.

Both “Ghostbusters” films will be covered in the quiz. Teams can have no more than six people. Admission is $5 a person and there will be cash prizes. Costumes are encouraged, so get to work on that proton pack.
