(GARY, Ind.) A man was found shot to death in Gary, Ind. Wednesday night.

The unidentified man was found in the 300 block of Harrison Street in Gary, according to a statement from the Lake County Coroner’s office. He was pronounced at the scene at 9:40 p.m.

The victim died from gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide, the coroner’s office said.

Gary police could not be reached early Thursday for details on the shooting.
