A man was shot Saturday afternoon in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 26-year-old was outside in the 300 block of West 107th Street when someone in a passing car shot him in the leg and foot about 4 p.m., police said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition had stabilized, police said.

A source said the victim is a documented gang member.
