Three men shot in Irving Park

Three people were shot Friday night in the Irving Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

Two 18-year-old men and a 19-year-old man were walking on the sidewalk about 11:15 p.m. in the 3900 block of North Francisco, when a green car drove past and a male got out and opened fire, police said.

One 18-year-old was shot in the head and taken in serious condition to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, police said.

The other 18-year-old suffered a graze wound to the head and the 19-year-old was shot in the left hip, police said. Both of their conditions had stabilized at Masonic.
