“So Anyway,” John Cleese headed to Chicago, Downers Grove

Fans of comedy great John Cleese will want to know the “Monty Python” legend will be in Chicago and the suburbs next month to promote his new book “So Anyway.”First the actor and comedian will be at the Tivoli Theatre in Downers Grove at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11 as Anderson’s Book Shop hosts the special event. Cleese will be interviewed by his daughter, Camilla, plus will do a Q&A with the audience. The cost to attend will be $36, but that includes a copy of “So Anyway.”The next afternoon, the entertainer and author will participate in a similar event at the Mission Theatre at the iO Theatre improv comedy complex, 1501 N. Kingsbury. The 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 program will be similar to the Downers Grove event, with Cleese again being interviewed by his daughter and participating in a Q&A with the audience.Admission to that event is merely $25, which is a discounted rate from the retail price of the book.i
