While Britney Spears let slip back in early September that her friend Zoe Saldana was having twins, the actress and “Guardians of the Galaxy” star has now made it clear that is indeed the case.

While chatting about her Halloween plans with E! News at the opening of the Motion Picture Academy’s Hollywood Costume exhibit in Los Angeles, the 36-year-old actress rubbed her belly and quipped, “I might need three costumes. I might have to make some adjustments, but it would be nice.”

The dad is Saldana’s husband, artist Marco Perego, also 36, who Saldana secretly wed in the summer of 2013. The beautiful star has long indicated she was anxious to become a mother. During an interview with Amanda de Cadenet in April, 2012, Saldana said, “I’m Latin — we start young, honey. At 22 you’re like, ‘I just wanna hold something!’ You want a little critter.”

Obviously, now that’s she’s in her mid-30s, Saldana didn’t really “start young” in launching a family, but in that Cadenet interview she did say she hoped to have “two or three kids. Or four or five! I don’t care. They’re just so delicious. I love the anxiety, the pressure of the loud room full of yapping kids. But I’m a kid myself. I get along very well with animals and children. … A child speaks more sense than an adult half of the time.”

Well, Saldana certainly is now well on her way to starting that big family!
