Obama lands at Gary airport: helicopter to Soldier Field

Air Force One flying President Barack Obama back home landed at the Gary/Chicago airport on Wednesday night. The president is taking a short helicopter flight from the Indiana airport near the Illinois border to a landing area near Soldier Field. Obama on Thursday headlines a fundraiser for Gov. Pat Quinn and then delivers a speech at Northwestern University.

Greeting the president at the Gary airport was Gary Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson and Sen. Joe Donnelly D-Ind.
