A man apparently suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound Sunday night in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

About 10 p.m., the 50-year-old man was shot in the leg in the 800 block of East 88th Place, police said.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
