SHARE 17-year-old shot in Humboldt Park

A teenage boy was shot Thursday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened in the 3300 block of West Chicago about 8:35 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic said.

The 17-year-old was shot in the right shoulder and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, Sedevic said.
